Buttercup is one of the Powerpuff Girls. The other two are Blossom and Bubbles. Her appearance in Total Drama Before Time is based on Fusion Fall. Buttercup is the one to most likely punch first then ask questions later. Her color scheme relates to her use of grass type Pokemon. She even have a rivalry with Guido. Each time they fight, they end up having a Pokemon battle, but it always ends up in a tie though.
