This house was designed in 1948 by the architect Henri Charles Anosier and built by Adams and Fletcher for actress Florentine Fortesque. Florentine owned the house for many years until selling it in 1963. Artist C.P. Buller and model Caroline Koch purchased the house for an astonishing $380,000. When Buller died in 1978, Caroline sold the home to Sylvanian governor Donald O'Neill for $596,000. After it was shown that O'Neill used public money to pay for the house, it was immediately confiscated by the state. In 1988, the home was bought by Prince Theodore who lived in it with his family for 12 years, until his death. It went on the market in 2003 for 2.9 million dollars.
