Because she likes to meddle into things, she's weak to fads. Her daughter, Noel, takes after her. Miranda was a soprano singer when she was young and her daughter dreams of doing the same. Miranda was a popular sopran (iirc) singer who became pregnant with Noel out of wedlock and moved to Westown to start a new life to raise her daughter alone.
