Louisa Rix (born 2nd February, 1955) played Carole Gordon on Coronation Street in November 1978, and Alec Gilroy's sister, cruise ship singer Brenda (aka Melody Lane) in the spin-off QE2 Video, released in December 1995. Her other credits include A Roof Over My Head, Breakaway Girls, Danger UXB, The Professionals, A Fine Romance, Brookside, Smith & Jones, Colin's Sandwich, Harry Enfield and Chums, Kevin & Perry Go Large, Doctors, Miranda and Come Fly with Me.
