Heichi Kotsune and his brothers Heichi Kotsuro and Heichi Kotetsu were guardians of the Lair, the secretive holding of the supposedly extinct Boar Clan. They never left their ancestral mountains, because no one could know of the Lair and leave. The trio once saved the life of Matsu Goji, striking down a superior force of ronin bandits who were pursuing the Lion. Goji had no option to join them, spending the rest of his life with these remants of the Boar.
