The Gate of Silver was the Fifth Gate of Gondolin. Its wall was low and wide, made of white marble. The parapet was like a trellis and was made of silver. Instead of towers the Gate had five spheres also made out of marble. The middle sphere had a picture of Telperion on it. The gate was made out of silver and malachite, adorned with flowers made out of the pearls of the Balar.
