Similar to Animal Jingoism. Also see Animal Stereotypes. There is a tendency, especially in animated works involving animal characters, often Funny Animals or Talking Animals, to cast characters of a certain species as bad guys and characters of a different species as the good guys. This trope is invoked whenever a work attempts to inform the audience who the good guys and who the bad guys are based solely on their species.
