The Super Heavyweight Championship was a side event held especially for robots in the super heavyweight class, weighing up to 154 kg. During Series 2, the competition was mostly known as the Super Showdown. In reality, the championship was a mix of true super heavyweight robots and heavyweight competitors that were unable to compete in the main championship. Only one such event was ever held on the show, which took place during Series 2. Another event was planned for Series 3, but it was cancelled at the last minute due to an accident behind the scenes. An event for Extreme 2 was hinted at, but never contested.
