Bess Marvin is Nancy Drew's friend. Nancy can call her in most of the games to ask for advice or hints. Her cousin is George Fayne, and they usually talk to Nancy together. She is the girlish conterpart to her tomboy cousin, and when Nancy calls, she is often waiting for a boy to call. The first and only game she makes an appearence in is Ransom of The Seven Ships, where she is kidnapped until Nancy solves the mystery.
