Emperor Zekk was the ruler of the Second Galactic Empire for 50 years, from 40 ABY until his death. Born on Ennth in 7 ABY, Zekk was good friends with Jacen and Jaina Solo before being recruited to the dark side by Brakiss. After the Shadow Academy was defeated, Sith Lady Lumiya made him her apprentice. Zekk eventually started the Second Galactic Civil War in his quest for power. Victorious, the galaxy suffered under his tyrannical rule. Notably, after his death, out of fear of another dictator, the Empire disbanded and the galaxy was never reunited.
