The Wahine family live on the tropical island of Sunlit Tides. Leo and Sera Wahine are married and have three children: Tenika, Luna and Twikki. Tenika is engaged to Griffin Alto, but Leo strongly disapproves of the two being wed. This causes Tenika to make a hard decision between family and love. The Wahine's have quite a few family connections on the island. Sera is Talei Hale's sister, and Leo is Alana Kahale's brother.
