The macerator crushes and disposes of unwanted rock, dirt, and sand and has a small chance to produce ore. The type of ore depends upon the material fed into the macerator. It requires power in order to operate, a Conveyor Belt feeding it materials, and a hopper for any ores produced. If the macerator does not have an output hopper, it will become full after finding one ore and stop macerating any additional blocks until an output hopper is attached. It is possible for it to macerate most blocks other than those listed, acting like a trashcan. However, they won't produce any ores.
