Sister Ficaria was the old infirmary assistant to Brother Torilis. Samolus Fixa asked her to recite a silly sounding poem for him and his companions that was really about the Doomwyte jewels and Gonff the Mousethief. She had learned the poem through the writings of Laburnum, which were in her possession until they were accidentally destroyed in a fire from her glasses and sunlight. Ficaria died in her sleep - towards the end of her life, she was confined to a wheelchair, which later was passed on to Abbot Glisam when his rheumatism finally overtook him.
