Later in his years, Ichimu deemed corruption of the Seireitei, politics and activities became more and more uninteresting and hypocritical in his eyes. Seeking a world of truth, Ichimu decided to focus on honing his soul, and perfecting himself. To do this quickly, as well as passing time to his liking, Ichimu sealed his soul within his own Zanpakuto, hidden and seperated from the realms within his own weapon's inner world.
