The Tigris River is one of the major rivers that run through Iraq. The city of Baghdad is situated upon this river. In "Soul Harvest", it is discovered that the plane that Rayford Steele's second wife Amanda was riding in had fallen into the Tigris River, where she drowned along with the rest of the passengers on board the plane.
