Ray S. Allen ( – October 16, 1981) was an American writer and producer who was active in the 1960s and 1970s. Allen would normally team up with fellow writer and producer, Harvey Bullock whom he first met in 1949 while working as a comedy writer for the CBS radio program, Breakfast with Burrows. He was the writer of such television shows as The Flintstones, The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., The Dick Van Dyke Show, Hogan's Heroes, Petticoat Junction, I Spy, Mr. Terrific, and Love, American Style, as well as being co-creator, with Harvey Bullock, of Man in the Middle. Allen also help write such films as Honeymoon Hotel, Girl Happy, With Six You Get Eggroll and Don't Drink the Water. He lastly produced, sometimes with Harvey Bullock, such television shows as Wait Till Your Father
