The user forms a normal chidori, or a variation and charges chakra around their hands before discharging the chakra forcing the lightning out at the opponent. What makes this jutsu more dangerous than chidori nagashi is that the user can have the lightning lock on to opponents chakra signatures and bio magnetic field. This can be used to increase the chance of the jutsu connecting as a completely fatal hit.
