The World Taekwondo Masters Union (WTMU) is an organization headquartered in Illinois that was founded in September 2011 by Ki Hong Kim; the WTMU has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kukkiwon that allows it to process dan certficates in the United States. In this role as Kukkiwon's representative in the U.S., the WTMU goes by the name Kukkiwon America.
