The Unending Fear Technique (永遠の恐れテクニック) is part of a long line of comical jutsu along with the Unending Laughter,Tears and Speech Techniques.The Unending Fear is a Genjutsu.It makes the opponent believe that he/she is under assault by their worst fears imaginable.This jutsu is the a non-lethal jutsu as well as being the most mentally scarring jutsu.It should be noted that it is extremely comical to see your enemy crouching,running,hiding and screaming at enemies that do not exist.Though these cases are rare,there are few people who die from shock at the sight of the Genjutsu.After the sequence of hand seals is completed the opponent will already be under the Genjutsu.This style of jutsu is regularly employed by the Ninja Jesters of the Land of Deception.
