LT4 is a high explosive often used for precision work. The Eureka Maru once had some charges of LT4 on board that they used to retrieve diamonds from the abandoned planet Tychen with before she salavged the Andromeda. According to Fred Vexpag, the explosive is produced by the Makdav Corporation and is usually used for asteroid mining, as it is "great for precision bombing."
