Better loot is dropped when this mode is activated, but zombie spawns and difficulty remain the same. If the player dies, a different menu will pop up (shown to the right) instead of the usual one. It will tell the player how many days they have survived, and will delete the character's save history before the menu pops up, preventing the player from trying again. This game mode should only be played by experienced players who want more realistic and difficult gameplay.
