Battle Caster Defense is a heroic tier feat available to all player characters. Normally, characters using ranged or area powers provoke opportunity attacks. Characters with the Battle Caster Defense feat receive a +4 bonus to Armor Class against opportunity attacks they provoke with ranged or area powers.[PH3:177]
