WPC Hall was the first officer to call at 5 Coronation Street following the rape of Toyah Battersby in April 2001. Her initial questions to the distressed girl received no clear answers as Toyah had little memory of her ordeal. She took her to the rape centre for examination and sat in on the first interview by DS Groves who was placed in charge of the case.
