While the lands north of the Rebic Channel were reeling from the Cataclysm, the Dwarves of the Craggonen were busy with their own problems. For years, it was known that some sort of demonic entity was active to the far south, but for the most part, it was too far away to truly worry about. But then in Imperial Year 897, it hit home for the Dwarves. They awoke one morning to find an army of Giants camped at the base of their mountains, building siege weapons and attacking any who came near.
