The Aquaticans are a sapient, amphibious race indigenous to the Sea of Rakash as well as the Crystal Sea on the planet Eternia. It is unknown if their ancestors had yet evolved before the evil Hordak transformed the Caverns of Rakash into its later iteration as a body of water. The face notably has a layer of rough, orange-hued scales which serve an unknown purpose, which surround the eyes and occasionally the upper lip.
