Fordbank is a modern private estate being built in the Corseford area of Johnstone. They are the first private investment in the housing estate and were completed in late 2007. The houses consist of semi-detached homes built where tenements once stood on Ness Avenue. The flats were demolished in 2004 and work began on Fordbank in September 2006. If the scheme is successful, other private ventures may be built in Johnstone's council estates.
