Christian Edwards was a defender who played for Rovers for three years. He joined on a free transfer from Nottingham Forest in 2003 and left the club at the end of the 2005-06 season, having decided to retire from professional football. He has represented his home nation of Wales fourteen times at under-21 level, twice in 'B' internationals and has won one full cap, which he earned while playing for Swansea City.
