Published by Pomegranate Books, the book was released to coincide with the opening of The Addams Family: A New Musical that opened on Broadway in April 2010. The book shows more than 200 cartoons, including some never before published. Each chapter shows a chronology of each character’s evolution throughout the television shows, movies, and other depictions of the family, headed by Addams' own descriptions used for the original television series producers.
