Armor Specialization (Scale) is a paragon tier feat available to player characters 11th level or above, with a Dexterity score of at least 15 and proficiency with scale armor. A character with Armor Specialization (Scale) gains a +1 feat bonus to AC when wearing scale armor, and ignores the speed penalty normally incurred by wearing scale armor.[PH:202] Armor Specialization is considered the standard feat bonus to AC, although there may be other feats that give a better bonus.
