The Republic of Mexico was a nation in Vinland. When the United States collapsed in 2035, Mexico launched an invasion to regain the lands lost from the Mexican-American War. With support from the other Latin American nations, as well as China, Mexico managed to achieve victory and annexed back the lands. In 2060, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua were merged into Mexico after referendums. Later in 2120, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica also merged with Mexico after referendums.
