One of the Founders of the Order of Hermes, Tytalus was one of the most feared wizards of his time and eventually founded House Tytalus. At the Order's foundation he was the elder apprentice of Guorna the Fetid, sharing tutelage with Tremere and Pralix. Together they ultimately killed their mater and joined the nascent Order. Although Pralix had been an apprentice of Guorna, she was not under Guorna for a long a period and she is properly considered Tytalus' apprentice and filia, as is the first prima of the house, Hariste.
