The Imperial Armada was the main naval fighting force of the New Galactic Empire. The Imperial Armada fought in many wars, and half of the navy betrayed the Empire during the Cartel Crisis, when a criminal gang called the Malfoy Cartel took over Coruscant. After the peace treaty between the two factions, the traitorous Imperial military members joined the Empire again.
