They were often alerted to an enemy presented by the Security satellites stationed throughout Nefarious-controlled sectors. Unlike Nefarious Dropships, they attacked enemy ships with laser cannons rather than missiles. They were first encountered by Ratchet in the Phylax Sector, when Vorselon's Warship released dozens of these ships to lose the Aphelion. These vessels were later replaced by the upgraded Nefarious Fighter v2s in the Bernilius Sector.
