Gliese 876 is a star system located 4.70 parsecs from Earth. The star is an M3V spectral type, making it a Red Dwarf. There are three planets orbiting the star; Gliese 876 b has a mass 2.64 times that of Jupiter and is in the outer habitable zone, Gliese 876 c has a mass 0.78 times that of Jupiter & is in the inner habitable zone and Gliese 876 d has a mass between 5.88 and 8.41 times that of Earth and may be terrestrial, unfortunately it is not in the habitable zone.
