Tori Lasara was a member of the Lasara family of Naboo. Born in 130 BBY, she was very much a product of her time, taking advantage of the loosening borders between the classes to marry a certain Klin Totson, who, while relatively rich, would almost certainly had been murdered by her relatives had she tried marrying him during the first half of the 2nd Century BBY. While she had only had a brief career in the Lasaras political stronghold of Parrlay, she encouraged her son, Benit Lasara, to seek power on a wider scale. He would bring the family out of Parrlay and into the wider political scene, and his granddaughter, Eirtaé Lasara, would come within a few hundred votes of being crowned Queen of Naboo.
