Vorlaisner was a Barrayaran Vor who served as an Imperial Auditor. He was unable to meet with Miles Vorkosigan upon the occasion of his job offer because he was tied up with business on the South Continent. Miles Vorkosigan considered him to be a trifle too conservative for his tastes.
