Shiba Ameiko was a samurai-ko of the Phoenix Clan, appointed to patrol the Isawa Mori. In 1165 she was met by the Inquisitor Isawa Fosuta, who enlisted Ameiko in his chase of several Maho-tsukai bloodspeakers who were killing ronin and peasants, turning them into undead.
