Venkatesh Koothrappali is a cousin of Raj's from India. He appeared in "The Precious Fragmentation" through Raj's laptop, as Raj's attorney. Venkatesh appears to have poor negotiating skills and quickly gave up on something if it doesn't go as planned. Raj referred to him as "being useless", to which he agreed. He is portrayed by actor Frank Maharajh.
