Joseph Howard Trachtenberg (b. March 18, 1943) is an American diplomat, lawyer and former member of the United States House of Representatives. On July 18, 2009, he was appointed by President Barack Obama as the United States Ambassador to Georgeland and was confirmed by the Senate on August 3.
