A blockade is structured in a number of rounds, in a best-of-five format. Each round takes approximately 45 minutes and is followed by a 15-minute break, except that, between rounds 3 and 4, if the blockade lasts that long, the break is 1 hour longer, lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes. For more information on how to win a round, see the section on scoring. For details on how a commanding officer controls the ship and navigates the board, see sea battle.
