The Council of Judgment was a five-member judicial body within the Jedi Order dating back to the New Sith Wars, at least informally. Based within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant's detention center, the Council met within the Chamber of Judgment where the five masters would preside over a party which was determined in need of judgment. An auxiliary body of the Councils of Reassignment and Reconciliation, membership on the Council was informal and made up of two masters from each of the aforementioned Councils and the Warden of the Order, the Barsen'thor. As the Warden was responsible for all those detained or imprisoned by the Order, the judgment was enforced by the Barsen'thor once a verdict was reached by the Council.
