Calgary Roadrunners is a club devoted to distance running (both road and cross country) in and around the Calgary area. The club has members of all ages and running abilities. They offer training programs for all levels of experience and also sponsor several running events throughout the summer, including the Calgary Marathon. The marathon takes place during the Calgary Stampede. In 2009 the race date was moved to an earlier date. The 2010 date for the Calgary Marathon is Sunday, May 30, 2010.
