The Great Southern Archipelago, commonly referred to simply as The Isles, was a dense region of islands to the south of the central continent of the planet Vitea. There were said to be over 1 million islands in this dense region and over 1 billion islands in the southern hemisphere of the planet. The Archipelago was visible from South End. Many strike teams from the new republic found refuge here, and used the islands as missile platforms during the Battle of Vitea. After the battle, these former warriors built many lavish palaces from the wreckage of imperial starships.
