The Godzilla Heisei era lasted from 1984 to 1995. The Godzilla Heisei era was also nicknamed the "VS Series" (VSシリーズBuiesu shirīzu?, lit. Versus series) in Japan, due to the word VS (Buiesu) being featured in most of the films' titles.
