Malus's only true companion was his cold one Spite. Cold ones, while incredibly powerful beasts, are not known for their intelligence; Spite was somewhat of an exception. Spite was loyal to Malus and any enemy that didn't fall at Darkblade's hand was crushed by his jaws.
