Omega Signal was a code that the Alliance to Restore the Republic's military forces used as an order to all personnel to break contact with enemy forces and retreat. Alliance personnel designated as Alliance Battle Staff had the authority to issue the evacuation order, which had its own code. In the instance of the Battle of Hoth, the code was "K-one-zero, all troops disengage."
