Julie is one of the two teenage girls who mugged Seth Armstrong in September 2000, along with her friend Mel. When Seth Armstrong secretly borrows some money from his partner Betty Eagleton in order to place some money on a horse that miraculously wins! However his success is short-lived and he is robbed by the two teenage girls who steal his wallet and smash the figurine he bought with his winnings for Betty. Seth is left traumatised after this event but after some help with Betty and Ollie Reynolds, he confronts them and the two girls are arrested by Ollie's mother Angie.
