Nightmares on Elm Street is a comic that takes place between A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child and Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. It has characters from the previous Nightmare films returning Nancy Thompson, Neil Gordon, Jacob Johnson and Alice Johnson. Of the six issues, the first two take place one year after the fifth film of the series and the last four take place six years after. All of the issues were released in 1991.
