Yes It Is is a song by The Beatles, written by John Lennon (credited Lennon/McCartney). It was the B-side to the Ticket to Ride single. However, John hated this song, calling it "an attempt to rewrite "This Boy" that didn't work". Paul McCartney on the other hand said: "It's a very fine song of John's." An alternate version is on "Anthology 2," features John by himself singing by himself on Take 2. The song was recorded start to finish in under 5 hours.
