Emperor Spriggan is the 444th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail. After helping the inhabitants of Caracole Island into fishing vessels, Team Natsu are sent to an underwater temple via Mest's Teleportation Magic. Once there they find out that Sorano was the spy all along, and that she knows Makarov's exact location. Meanwhile, in Vistarion, Makarov discusses Emperor Spriggan's personality with Yajeel and, shortly after, he is shocked to realize that the emperor is none other than Zeref himself, returning back home after a year of absence.
